I'm a Greenlander living in Nuuk. Will be posting videos I shoot throughout my day and life. If that would be of some sort of interest...
First ever depature from new runway in Nuuk
Air Greenland dash 8, flight GL502 to Kangerlussuaq, first ever deparure from the new runway in Nuuk, Greenland. It is the first half of the final 2200 meter runway, ready for operations. The old runway, build in 1979, now closed and can be seen briefly at the beginning of the video, used as taxiway.
Then we can hear co-pilot a little later giving an inflight briefing in Greenlandic, Danish and English.

Uummannaq on a tuesday at noon

Clips from our little trip to the football field. The field itself is artificial turf with rubber crumb infill. The weather was perfect, slight breeze, few clouds and temperatures around 9°C (48°F) in the shade. Just need a boat to show the magnificent nature in Uummannaq fiord.

First part is descending into Uummannaq fiord and then approach and landing, the last part is the aircraft departing back to Ilulissat after picking up passengers from Uummannaq. Du scheinst recht flott unterwegs zu sein. 1. Wie oft gibt es bei euch Geschwindigkeitskontrollen? 2. Gibt es in Nuuk auch festinstallierte Geschwindigkeitsradare? 3. Wo in Grönland kann man am schnellsten fahren, und wie schnell? Gibt es eine bestimmte Straße, zum Beispiel? 4. Wird der erste Highway in Grönland gebaut?
The town is small and livable. There seems to be (mostly) everything you need for living comfortably. It's quite spread out, which gives some comfort to more introverted people. Thanks for the tour!

It’s hydropower, there’s a dam ca. 50 km south of city, across some fiords. Look up “Buksefjorden” on youtube.

Great video, awesome 212! I actually thought that there were no more 212's in active service in Europe and Greenland, so this is a pleasant surprise. Is it flying passengers or more into cargo and utility work?
Flying passengers, mail and cargo. But the last 212 in active service, for Air Greenland, is now in Tasiilaq, east Greenland. Being replaced by newer EC155’s.
The awesomemost 7-ness, from the gate to the Lamborghini. And not an owl and pussycat in sight on a 57% chance of an escape night.

Elbtunnel is an tunnel. the others are not. In the last years the A7 has received an ceiling to connect again the districts and make it more green and silence.
